Objectives
In green economy era, Bamboo applications become more and more significant. Transformation of traditional industries along with introducing new talents to develop International market has become a new challenge for industry, research department and government.
USR Bamboo and Bamboo Charcoal Innovation of National Chung Cheng University from Taiwan and South Asian Bamboo Foundation from India cooperate to keep Bamboo and Bamboo Charcoal Innovation and reach UN, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Guided and assisted by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology from Taiwan in 2020. A series of seminars and forums for bamboo technology will be co-organized by two institutions. To bring the most advanced technology vision to the world and to establish a platform for International exchange for bamboo industry.
Since 2020, COVID-19 epidemic has threaten the global health, causing negative impact on the development of the bamboo industry. Through industry-academia research and sharing from practical experts, we expect to have breakthrough and new development in bamboo applications; accordingly, build up new industrial value chain.
